The Majestic Vienna!!

Hey guys! Now it's time for another wonderful city, Vienna!

The first night we went for a walk in the Prater, an old amusement park, quite modernized, where it is the famous Ferris wheel. It's beautiful at night and full of childlike joy, seemed ideal to spend an evening with family or friends. For that occasion I chose a cheerful and colorful look and of course always accompanied by my denim jacket because it was a bit chilly.

¡Hola chicos! Ahora es el turno de otra maravillosa ciudad, ¡Viena!

La primera noche fuimos a pasear por el Prater, un antiguo parque de atracciones, bastante modernizado, donde se encuentra la famosa noria. Es precioso de noche y rebosa de alegría infantil, me pareció ideal para pasar una tarde con la familia o los amigos. Para ello elegí un look alegre y muy colorido y por supuesto siempre acompañada de mi chaqueta vaquera porque hacía fresquito.

For the second day I chose a very simple look consisting on a floral print skirt and a white tank, still don’t know if it was very successful because it was extremely windy and I spent all day doing the Marilyn Monroe stuff with my skirt, it was so embarrassing, hope nobody could see my underwear :S

Para el segundo día elegí un look muy sencillo compuesto por una falda de estampado floral y una camiseta blanca muy simple, aunque no sé si fue muy acertado porque hacía muchísimo viento y pasé todo el día al estilo Marilyn, no sabéis que vergüenza, espero que no se me viera nada :S

It's totally different from Prague. I was captivated by its elegance and majesty. Imagine that many years ago those same buildings were inhabited and the streets walked by historical characters as famous as the composer Mozart, the psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud or the Empress Sissi, was something that made my hair stand on end, because of the emotion.

Vienna in its height must have been a great city, and proof of this is the large number of palaces built and the richness of details present in the most beautiful buildings of it. Some of the buildings struck me most were the opera and the city hall, they were amazing!, in fact I have no words to describe them.

We also had the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition of one of my favorite artists, Gustav Klimt, and finally I could see The Kiss, and I can say that I felt a lump in my throat, it was so exciting!

Es una ciudad totalmente diferente de Praga. Me cautivó su elegancia y majestuosidad. Imaginar que muchos años atrás esos mismos edificios ante mis ojos fueron habitados y las calles recorridas por personajes de la historia tan célebres como el compositor Mozart, el psicoanalista Sigmund Freud o la emperatriz Sisi, fue algo que me puso los pelos de punta, de la emoción claro.

Viena es todo su apogeo debió de ser una gran ciudad, y muestra de ello es el gran número de palacios construidos y la riqueza en detalles presentes en los más bellos edificios de la misma. Algunas de las edificaciones que más me impactaron fueron la ópera y el ayuntamiento, increíbles, no tengo palabras para describirlos.

También tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de la exposición de uno de mis pintores favoritos, Gustav Klimt, y por fin pude ver El Beso en persona, y os puedo decir que hasta se me hizo un nudo en la garganta, ¡fue increíble!

And of course we couldn’t go without tasting the most famous cake, the Sacher cake, and due to my passion for chocolate, I ate everything, not even a crumb left, it was scrumptious!

Y por supuesto no nos podíamos ir de esta ciudad sin probar su tarta más famosa, la tarta Sacher, y dada mi pasión por el chocolate no dejé ni una miga, ¡estaba riquísima!
