Re-Art

Hey guys! Welcome to small craft in the city, my friend Elizabeth and I went leisurely day shopping at the mall, when we stumbled upon this exhibition of the most curious, it was to give a new vision to the ancient paintings, modernizing they.
Do you see a ride with us?

¡Hey chicos!

Do you know what this picture? Well, not sound like much, being a Spanish painter, but is "Las Meninas" by Velazquez, obviously this is not the original. Mind you, there was the whole royal family unless kings as kings did not want to be portrayed, the painter Velazquez, and if you look behind a mirror, in which, unbeknownst to the kings, Velazquez managed to portray. Technically not portrayed them, portrayed his reflection!

Here is our painter Vincent Van Gogh (This I know more than you?) And a new vision of his famous painting "Sunflowers". Vincent Van Gogh was post-impressionist, and there is a long story about him, the Impressionists see reality in a different article to see nosotros.Fijaos as well in the brushstrokes and the waves of the canvas, the Impressionists not capture shapes and figures and details, capture colors, prints and try to translate them.

Here we have the most beautiful old, "The Mona Lisa" by Leonardo DaVinci, with an enigmatic smile and according to Greek proportions, the perception of proportionality and beauty, each trait is the height it should be.

Isabel, with the perfect man, explaining perfect body measurements, surely you have ever seen this sketch right?

And here the last frame, a re-representation of the "Naked Maja" and "Clothed Maja" by Francisco de Goya y Lucientes.

Polka Dots Under The Sun

Hey guys! How are your holidays? Right now I’m spending several days on a small town in the mountains (The Pyrenees) where I’ve got a small house. The truth is that I prefer to come here in winter, light the fire and feel its warm breath while devouring the wood logs. But in summer it's ok, I like the tranquility and freshness that are breathed in an atmosphere so pure and healthy as it is and put aside the hectic and polluted pace that reigns in the cities. What I love about this place is the silence, the smells, the pureness of the landscapes and to wake up while listening to the cheerful birds singing at my window! Sounds idyllic, doesn’t it?

These days the only thing I do is relaxing and resting myself to face the new grade that unfortunately is just around the corner.

What I chose for this post is just a simple outfit, you saw the shorts in the post dedicated to Madrid, but the top tank…it was love at first sight and I couldn’t resist to bring it home with me! It reminds me a bit of the pin-up style, it’s cool but the truth is that I don’t wear it very often.
The photos were taken at my little garden. Hope you like them!

¡Hola chicos!

Tuxedo Nails

Today I bring a different post, a nail workshop.  With a little effort and patience, especially patience, we can get it all.

This morning I woke up inspired and seizing the moment of lucidity I decided to make a special design for my nails! So here I bring you the result of a whole-time morning ... well actually two hours, but I'm not going to lie, it is a hard and painstaking work, I suppose like any manicure, but not difficult. I am going to explain step by step how I did it and then you can tell me what do you think of the final result!

1. The first thing to do is apply a coat of clear nail polish. It is important that whenever you apply color to your nails you do this because protects the nail and also leaves the nail surface smoother and the color fixes better.

2. Then choose the base color, I have chosen a very light pink but can also be done with white, what happens is that I didn’t have. And we give two coats better than one.

3. And now comes the most important and difficult step, the design of the nail. To do this I used a toothpick and black nail polish. I have chosen the sticks used to remove cuticles because it has a flat part that suited me very well to draw the bows because it has the same form, but you can use a normal one. When we have made the loop (bow tie), draw just under it a couple of spots that simulates the buttons of our little tuxedo.

4. And finally we should give the final coat of gloss and there it is!

What do you think of it? I hope you like it and I’ll show you some new designs and the steps to get to them in other posts!

Have a nice day!

¡Pasad un buen día!

And we have decided to make together some photographic release. This little post is for showing you that during the sales quite a lot good business can be made! I will show you two conquests of mine: Shorts and Bag.For this day of relax and tranquility, I chose a very basic and confortable look.

As you can see, I chose for of  black shorts with floral (Stradivarius), I have not hesitated a second to buy them! Simple but refined they can be combined to varied colors. Fabric of black jeans with finishing touch on the sides of a clearer black. Pink and red flowers with varied tones and leaves of various greens. The particularity that is not seen at first sight they are the tones of dark  gray color on the black base. In the general I think both is a good buissness. The bag (H&M) is very simple with two braids but i love it!

Sister Jane

And here it is the promised store! I wanted to do something different, out of the conventions of brands such as Zara and Mango and share with all of you a recent brand that it is at its peak, perhaps you may know it but just in case I’ll show you. I want to recommend one of my coolest and amazing discoveries, Sister Jane, it is a Spanish brand that everyone is talking about. The young Spanish woman, Bea Deza, is the star of a success story that began with a short voyage in finances and ended up succeeding in London along with Topshop's hand, and it starts playing hard in our country. This girl has revolutionized the world of alternative fashion.

Her designs give off a deep feeling of nonconformity governed by a strong British style with a bohemian and vintage touch; this is the reason why I love it. We can find amazing outfits that have a casual and retro slight touch. Every piece of cloth has special features that make the one who wears them unique. And the best of all is its price; no more exorbitant figures of other brands.

Although part of the collection is available in Topshop's website, where she has a small corner reserved for her designs or Asos, if you live in Madrid or you are thinking of taking a short trip to there, I recommend you to visit her shop on the street Hermosilla, 26. It is located in a small courtyard composed of some small shops which together form the little space called Federica & Co, a lovely corner in the middle of the Salamanca neighborhood. It is decorated with some garden furniture, perfumes that you can create yourself, flowers, cupcakes ... this space is unique! At first glance seems somewhat spoiled, broken up with antique furniture everywhere, but therein lies the charm that makes it special. For me it has become an obligatory stop on my shopping route!

In that same space there is also a small shop that I found very interesting because they sell and rent headdresses for special events. Here I’ll show you some examples...

I hope you like it and if you have the chance to go don’t hesitate, it’s really worth going!

Have a nice day!

¡Pasad un buen día!
